Frank Lerner (Retired)

Frank Lerner founded the law firm now known as Lerner, Piermont, Riverol & Lawlor, P.C. in 1972. In December 2024, Frank retired after over 50 years of practice, always in the same building, 26 Journal Square, Jersey City, New Jersey, where our office is still located. During his years of practice, Frank was one of the most respected personal injury and workers’ compensation lawyers in the State of New Jersey.

An incredibly gifted trial lawyer, Frank successfully tried hundreds of cases in U.S. Federal District Court, New Jersey Superior Court, and the New Jersey Division of Workers’ Compensation Court. Frank is well known for his vibrant intellect, affable personality, and great storytelling ability. He has been an amazing mentor and friend to every lawyer who has worked in our firm. His name remains at the top of the firm as a sign of our respect and love for him. Frank is presently enjoying his retirement in Florida with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
